Surya Namaskar Therapy with Chakra Awaken (7 Exercises)
(Sun Salutation)

Exercise-1 Anahata Chakra & Vishudha Chakra
Position ½ : Works on Anahata Chakra and physically with the chest area. It is helpful, for calm, balanced concentration. It makes humble, receptive, ability to surrender, creates friendly tendency. Induces a state of introversion, relaxation and calmness.
Works on Vishudha Chakra. Makes abdomen muscles strong, improve digestion, make spinal chord more flexible, helps to clean respiratory system and exercise arms and shoulders. Give great massage to abdomen. Helping to maintain health of the spongy discs between the vertebrae and toning the spinal nerves. This pose is also said to remove excess weight. Effect on thyroid glands thus speeding up of metabolism.
Exercise-2 Vishudha Chakra & Swadhisthana charkaPosition 2/3 : Works on Vishudha Chakra. Makes abdomen muscles strong, improve digestion, make spinal chord more flexible, helps to clean respiratory system and exercise arms and shoulders. Give great massage to abdomen. Works on Swadhisthana charka. Makes us aware of pelvic region. This position is good for curing abdominal ailments.
It massages the abdominal contents, especially the liver, kidney, gall bladder, pancreas, adrenal gland, uterus and ovaries, Whole abdominal toned, eliminating many ailments such as constipation and other digestive complaints. Power of digestion increased. Female disorders such as prolepses and menstrual irregularities are relieved. A good flow of blood encouraged to the spinal nerves as they are stretched and toned. The hamstring and calf muscles are also stretched, relieving varicose veins and aiding the return of blood to the heart. Inversion increases blood flow to the brain. The combination of inversion and forward bending is powerful means of toning the whole body. As pressure is exerted on all the major endocrine glands - genitals, adrenals, thymus thyroid and Para thyroid, pineal and pituitary. A major emphasis is given to the pelvic stretch and swadhisthan chakra.
It improves digestion, psychologically it helps to balance the mind, good for gastric troubles, makes spine flexible, makes feel body light, reduces weight, makes feel energetic.
Exercise-3 Ajna Chakra
Position 4 & 9 : Works on Ajna Chakra. This position makes aware from thigh to the elbow. It stretches the body and strengthens the muscles. It is very helpful for nervous disorders. The legs and joints are become more flexible. Gives a backward bend to the spine which relaxes the back muscles. The abdominal area is also stretches as a consequence. The main stretch is in the pelvic region. If sinus are blocked then feel immediate sense of relief.

Exercise-4 Vishudha Chakara
Position 5 : Works on Vishudha Chakara. Strengthens legs, arms, shoulders, neck and chest. It is the asana, which relieves varicose veins, as well as toning the spinal nerves.


Exercise-5 Manipur Chakra & Swadhisthan Chakra
Position 6/7 : Works on Manipur Chakra Makes us feel the abdomen. It strengthens the arms and leg muscles, develops the chest and exercises the spine around the shoulder region. It also gives strength to the neck muscles. It accentuates the normal spinal nerves. The back muscles experienced profound relaxation.
Works on Swadhisthan Chakra. It makes the spine flexible, massages the back, strengthens the neck, shoulders and develops the chest. Psychologically it increases concentration which creating tendency to relax. Relieving many ailments such as asthmas, constipation, indigestion, kidney, liver problem, Relieves tension in the back muscles and spinal nerves. Position 7 & 8 :
Works on Swadhisthan Chakra. It makes the spine flexible, massages the back, strengthens the neck, shoulders and develops the chest. Exercise-7 Rolling on Stomach :
Spiritual energy raise, produce kundalini energy, palet to thumb proper blood circulation, purification of lungs, liver function, increase appetite,proper blood circulation affect in the kidneys, helpful to make active- thyroid glands, pituatry glands and in improving vision, strengthen thigh muscles, knee flexibility, increase of physical stretchness, helpful in Ida-Pingla energy flow.
